dans mes petites chaussures: Simple Fettucine
College meals don’t have to be compilations of random ingredients thrown together, although they often are. I know I don’t always grocery shop with recipes in mind, so a little bit of imagination helps me pull ingredients together. I started out with tomatoes and I ended up with this.
Pasta and sauce:
1. Cook your pasta of choice according to the directions on the package and drain.
2. Dice 2 roma tomatoes and 1/2 an onion.
3. Mince and brown a clove of garlic in a saucepan.
4. Add tomatoes, onions, and a bay leaf. Salt and pepper to taste.
5. Cook until tomatoes are soft and mushy.
6. Serve sauce over pasta with a sprinkle of parmesan.Veggies on the side:
1. Chop a crown of broccoli and 1 or 2 carrots.
2. Toss with salt, pepper, and a bit of oil.
3. Bake in oven for 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
4. Or lightly steam them for crunch and freshness.Serves two.
Sounds delicious!!
